Rosette’s Terms of Service 2022

Rules/Requirements
_{-Provide clear, fully colored, full body references of your character.}

_{-I determine if your reference is good enough, uncolored reference (unless you commission an uncolored piece) will not work.}

_{-Selfies, or pieces drawn from an actual photo, are accepted but there will be an extra fee of 5-10 USD.}

_{-For the character, you are allowed to choose the pose/outfit/etc, but expect me to have my own creative influence.}

_{-Overly detailed characters will cost you extra.}

_{-My signature/watermark will be on all my pieces, if it's for commercial use you can specify where I put it, but you can not edit it out.}

Payment

_{-I will send you a sketch before i request payment. The sketch will be heavily watermarked and if you use the sketch without sending payment I will blacklist you. Violation of this rule will result in me telling other artists about you, preventing you from scamming them.}

_{-Your commission won't be completed until you have confirmed it, and it is fully paid.}

_{-Commissions can be paid for through PayPal and Venmo.}

Time

_{-I can take up to 4 months to finish a commission.}

_{- You may request an update at any time after payment. However, asking me about it repeatedly will not make your commission come faster.}

_{-You may not ask for a refund unless my given time has passed.}

Rush fees are accepted:
_{-2 day fee: 3/4 of the price of the commission}
_{-Week fee: 1/2 of the price of the commission}
_{-Any other deadline within a month: 1/4 of the price of the commission}
_{-(these may change if the commission is complex)}

Customer Satisfaction
_{-I'll do everything I can to make sure the customer is satisfied.}

_{-Once the piece is finished you may not request something that will change the entire piece (pose, outfit, etc.)}

_{-After the concept sketch has been sent and edited to your liking, you may ask for 4 changes during the rendering process. Any changes after you reach this limit will cost 5 dollars extra. This rule doesn't count for reminders about details i missed. However if the details are unclear on the reference the change will count towards your limit.}

_{-You can request small changes once the piece is complete. (small accessories, tone change, etc)}

_{-MY WATERMARK AND SIGNATURE IS NOT TO BE REMOVED, but i'll try to blend it in and make it as pretty as possible.}

_{-For most commissions, i will provide an icon version with my watermark. One may be requested as well so the piece doesn't lose quality when cropped.}

_{-If you provide unclear reference, there are to be no complaints at all.}

_{-I reserve the right to refund your commission at any time.}

Copyright and Usage

_{-I, the artist, hold all right to the finished piece, meaning I can post and advertise it any place I want. This includes in promotions, commission examples and advertising. I will not make prints of the piece.}

_{-You, as the commissioner, are allowed to post and use the art anywhere you please, I request that you link back to my Twitter/Facebook but it is not necessary. You are allowed to print and claim rights to the character, but not to the art.}

_{-The following is considered Copyright infringement:}
_{Reproducing/using the copyrighted artwork when not permitted by me or the commissioner, making money from it in any way without the commercial agreement, taking Credit for the creation of the artwork, removing any watermarks/signatures, altering the artwork without my, the artist's, consent.}

_{-I have the right to decline any commission i am uncomfortable with.}

_{-If you file a chargeback against me, your right to everything I have ever made for you will be retracted and I have the right to sell the copyrighted artwork to new buyers. You will be forbidden to ever commission me, Roselline, ever again. Your name will be publicly posted everywhere I want to for others to watch out for. I also have every right to file a complaint and I have all the rights to the money you have given me.}

Commercial Rights
_{-If you intend on using my art for anything besides personal use or promotional online posting please read the following.}

_{-If you wish to buy the rights to your commission in order to create merchandise (prints, buttons, etc.) a fee of $100-$400 will be required.}

_{-I do accept royalties, however i will need proof that you will follow through.}

_{Of course you can! I don't tolerate tracing, but i love to see works inspired by my style.}

_{I will not draw the following: anything illegal, hate art, feral furries (characters with long snouts,) anything NSFW besides tasteful NSFW (inquire privately about this type of work,) and large groups of people (4+.)}

_{This section is for those who purchase my customer character commissions from me, as well as any adoptables.}
_{-I do not mind resells, do not sell my designs for more than you paid for it, unless there's extra art.}

_{-I prefer photo aesthetics and visual descriptions when creating a design.}

_{-After the concept sketch you may ask for up to 10 changes. Any changes to the design after this will cost $5-$10.}
